Body Energetix: Renew your Mind, Regulate your Emotions, Regenerate your Body
022: The Anxiety of Overthinking, WHY it Happens, WHAT it does to your Body & Habits
The Inner Child's alarm of "What do I need to do to feel safe?" anxieties lead to overthinking in our adult mind.
The anxiousness we feel in our body can be soothed with substances & behaviors.
The overthinking exhausts us.
Both take our time, energy and focus away from our Dream Body health & fitness habits.
This episode is a long one!
Most episodes going forward are more of a Masterclass where I'm sharing a:
WHAT: in this case, anxiety & overthinking
WHY: the Inner Child, Angry Teen, or energetic reasons the 'what' happens
HOW: what you can do to correct the pattern & heal your mind-body
The video version of this episode has fun graphics when I refer to a part of my Body Energetix 3-Part System's tools, which are useful to deepen your understanding and heal!

if I understood how the mindsets and the emotions were operating my body and causing disease and discomfort, inflammation, chronic pain, my psychosomatic injury of my cervical disc herniations. When I understood the how of the mechanics of the thoughts and the feelings, then it was like the pressure was off and I could use thoughts and feelings, and then resources that have to do with thoughts and feelings, as exercise. Welcome to the Body Energetics Podcast. I'm your host, 23-year fitness professional, lauren Cerceone. I started my hero's journey of reconnecting with my inner child to heal my mind-body disorders 14 years ago. In this podcast, I share my three-step system to renew your mind, regulate your emotions and regenerate your body. Go to bodyenergeticscom to join my free community where each week, we expand on the theme of the current episode so you can reconnect your mind-body to restore your physical health and create your desired aesthetic. Welcome to Body Energetics podcast, episode number 22. Body Energetics is my three-step system to renew your mind, regulate your emotions and regenerate your body. This is the second episode I'm recording since getting all of my tools within and without so your mental, emotional, mindset and emotion tools, as well as the diet and exercise tools, into one platform at bodyenergeticswithanxcom. This is the place where paid and gamified coaching clients will be using all of my resources to renew their mind, regulate their emotions, regenerate their body. The gamified coaching works like this the more you interact with the platform, the more your leaderboard goes up. The more your leaderboard goes up, you have the chance to be one of three people, men or women, to win a coaching call on the first Saturday of the month at 8 am Pacific Standard Time or Daylight Savings Time whatever 8 am Pacific Time, los Angeles Time. First Saturday of the month at 8 am Pacific Standard Time or Daylight Savings Time whatever 8 am Pacific Time, los Angeles time, first Saturday of the month. This is going to help you make money. Be the reason why you never say no.
Speaker 1:I have heard from so many people that they can't afford my one-on-one rate, so I thought you know what? Why don't I make a community where everyone has access to the tools and then they win coaching from me? What's really cool about this platform also is that our wall is kind of like a Facebook wall, but we have categories of topics, and so when you post in the category of the topic whether it's about food or about macros, or about your diet, or about mindset or your nervous system or getting started or just general questions. They go into categories so that I can best support you through the platform. So this is a really great way for you to become your dream body without using money if money is a resource that you do not have extra of to invest in physical diet and exercise type stuff.
Speaker 1:A really unique aspect of the platform is that I am using the podcast as a place to host a masterclass of sorts.
Speaker 1:So these conversations on the podcast are probably going to be more than a half hour because I'm going to share with you concepts of why you'd want to use the tools to renew your mind, regulate your emotions or regenerate your body, and I'm going to give you the why behind them as more of like, the feeling and the personalization to it, as well as the how, because what I really noticed worked well for me is that if I understood how the mindsets and the emotions were operating my body and causing disease and discomfort, inflammation, chronic pain, my psychosomatic injury of my cervical disc herniations when I understood the how of the mechanics of the thoughts and the feelings, then it was like the pressure was off and I could use thoughts and feelings and then resources that have to do with thoughts and feelings as exercise, to where I didn't have as much of a meaning about my ability to change these thoughts and feelings. I had less judgment around myself and around my behaviors and I was able to really kind of be more pragmatic with things because there was like an equation that I could work on and it released the meaning that I made all of these thoughts and feelings and my physical outcomes mean about my worth. So I was able to detach from a value system of if I was good or bad by understanding how the thoughts and feelings were operating my body. So this is why these podcasts are going to get a bit longer, because I'm going to inform you about a tool to use the why. So some of my personal experience of why you'd want to do this, of some of the struggles that you might be having to also, and then how how the thoughts and feelings are showing up in your body, so that you can have more of a pragmatic, objective, divine, masculine if you will, of structure, of knowledge, of how it's working, kind of the feminine energetics, of understanding the why, and we get to connect on the level of our pain because you may relate to how it was showing up for me. It might be showing up the same way for you. And then, of course, the how what you're actually going to put into practice so that you can start to feel better in your body. So what we're talking about today is the anxious overthinking, and the tool that we're going to use to regulate or reverse this anxious overthinking is breathwork, and breathwork is module number five of the Body Energetics system. So you'll be able to use that tool.
Speaker 1:After you listen to this podcast, join the community at bodyenergeticscom, watch it. Check the box to make your leaderboard go up Post on the wall. Deepen the conversation that we're having. In this podcast slash masterclass, I was reflecting on how my overthinking played out in my conscious experience, like what were some of the things that were happening to me that I was aware of, and then I'm going to share with you how this gets created in the inner child and nervous system and how that shows up in our body, the outcomes, and then some deeper layers of outcomes, of behaviors of isolation, addiction, neglect and self-abandon. Well, it's going to not really be fun stuff to go over, but you'll probably see some of your habits and your behaviors within this episode, and then you'll understand how you can start to unwind it within this episode, and then you'll understand how you can start to unwind it.
Speaker 1:So the what is is when we're reviewing the day to make sure you did it all right. So this is something that I did a lot, where, when I was falling asleep, once the light was off, once everything was done, that moment that you close your eyes and I would start to run through everything that happened during that day to find that one thing that I did wrong. And then, once I could find the one thing to do wrong, then I would have a sinking in my chest, a little bit of like a throw up sensation in my throat, and then kind of like this, like sting of an adrenaline dump through my limbs. I would actually feel that in my body and then the mindsets would go off, the thoughts would go off, where I would play off the incident in my head, watch it like a movie and then think about everything that I should have done wrong. I could see the person's expression on their face and this is probably all made up. There probably was no problem whatsoever and this memory that I'm looking at is actually made up, based on the skewed mindset of feeling like I'm a bad person because of the feelings I had as a child.
Speaker 1:Get into that of how that starts to get programmed a little bit later into the podcast episode. So the overthinking is the anxiety of the feeling that you are bad and the mind looks for a match to something you can judge. As that's it. That's where you messed up. So let's dive into that statement just a little bit before we move on. The mind looks for a match to something you can judge. So this emotion of I am bad that is living in the body, in the nervous system, from the inner child who had an experience of negative emotion, of negative emotion, that in the interpretation of the negative emotion, the inner child baby to childhood, nine years old, maybe zero to nine, zero to 11, the feeling that the baby or child brain made that negative emotion sensation in their body mean was bad, I am bad. When there is an I am statement, that is an identity. I am Lauren, I am a woman. Anytime there is an I am, it's an identity.
Speaker 1:So if we are little children and we have a negative emotion, a feeling in our body that we don't have a witness to, we don't have somebody to validate that experience. Because when we don't have somebody validating our experience, we are invalidating reality. And this is important, especially when we're talking about the dream body, because being human, having the soul, experience in the human 3d field, where there is contrast, the way we navigate the contrast is by sensation, right, cause everything's vibrating at a different rate. So if we have a negative feeling in our body and there is no grownup to say yeah, I get it, I would be scared too, yeah, I would be sad too, yeah, my feelings would be hurt too. If we didn't have someone validate it on the external, then our perception of this soul in a child body and mind is like it must be bad. And because the world is a reflection of me, I must be bad.
Speaker 1:So we imprint I am bad along with whatever negative emotion didn't have a witness or secondary thing is how we dealt with being detached from our caregiver. Whatever that feeling of not being connected to our caregiver made us feel about the safety of the world. So when we don't have an attachment to our caregiver, the primal instinct for all of us is death, because we are an infant and child. You know, whatever the ages are, that we have these little ruptures with our caregivers, but mostly this is the zero to 18 months where, if we don't have a feeling of validation, eye to eye connection with our caregivers, emotional connection, like if they disassociate and they're checked out even though their body is right next to us, when we lose this connection, we're losing the connection with the nervous system, because our nervous systems are calibrating and regulating with our caregiver to know is this safe? Am I safe?
Speaker 1:So if there's a disconnection, the disconnection of the nervous system sends us into fight, flight, freeze, fawn that lives in the amygdala, the part of the brain that stores every emotional experience, as if it's happening right now. So we have these two factors a feeling that doesn't get validated. Therefore our reality is invalidated and we jump up into our mind and make a meaning out of that negative emotion slash. We make a fantasy of what it would be like to not have that emotion and what we would need to be in order to not have that negative emotion, or what we need other people or the world to be to not have that negative emotion. Dream body, dream body. Do you see how it's all connected?
Speaker 1:The other half is if we lose connection to our caregiver. So those two things the mind looks for a match to something they can judge as that's it. That's where you messed up, because in the mind body connection of I am bad or I am unsafe, that identity lives on and whatever age that it got set in the context of the growing human, that mindset gets applied to every situation and every context on the wheel of life, or every category on the wheel of life. The mindset gets stronger and stronger. The mental emotional identity gets stronger and stronger, stronger until it is just a constant state of anxiety because the brain is constantly looking for confirmation that I am bad. This is what anxiety feels like to me. I'm sure there's other definitions and you might be able to describe it in a different way, but this was part of me coming to terms with what was going on in my mental, emotional bodies, causing the stuff that was happening in my physical body, and this is a way that I was able to understand this when I wanted to do a reverse diet with macros after I had mastered my anti-inflammatory list.
Speaker 1:Attachment theory just is going to probably carry over in every single episode that we do here, because we're really dealing with the detachment that we had to ourself of how our mind-body split and every time we can take a look objectively at how the mind-body splits. What are the components of the mind-body, the mindsets, the emotions splits. What are the components of the mind-body the mindsets, the emotions, the thoughts, the feelings, the manifestation of illness or health, or follow-through or sabotage or ghosting. We really get to be able to understand what's going on so that we can change it. We're making the invisible visible. Moving on to the why, the child feeling slash emotional body. So we've got mental, emotional, physical, spiritual bodies, or it really should be physical. Emotional is the next layer of the body, then the mental body, then the outer layers of the spiritual bodies. The child feeling slash emotional body is not being validated because when the feelings it had during an experience it didn't understand were suppressed, the mind made a meaning that it was bad.
Speaker 1:I kind of explained that just a second ago and the reason why I have it in quotes on my notebook and I'm doing air quotes is because I heard this really incredible metaphysical interpretation of the Bible. I have a couple of really old books that talk about how the Bible before the Roman Empire started to edit the transcripts. Before that, the Bible was recognized as a metaphysical text, where the Old Testament was about astrology, planets, comets, and the New Testament was about the physical body. So I was reading this book and it talked about how it is God it, that, because everything is an it and God is the ultimate supreme reality, there's nothing separate from it, that, whatever we say it is, we're actually talking about identifying an aspect of God. Talking about identifying an aspect of God.
Speaker 1:So when the feeling, emotional body of the child has an experience that it doesn't understand, because whatever type of abuse has happened sexual abuse is trauma passed on, it happened to the person before. Physical abuse is trauma passed on. It happened to the person before. So there is a bit of. We also, in that moment, are not understanding that trauma, but it is an awful experience, right, no doubt about it. The importance of the nuance of the language and what we're really trying to hone in on for us, for our mental, emotional energetics that are creating our physical manifestation of the body and of our habits, is that when we don't understand the why of what is happening, we make it about us. So if it was sexual abuse, or if it was someone saying mean things to you, or it was someone just checked out, not paying attention to you. Those are all because that person was not connected to themselves and not in love. They were still separate, so they were operating mostly out of their wounds, versus if they still had a sense of wholeness because they stayed connected or they did their inner work or whatever. So anything that happens, it doesn't matter the severity of the experience. If we have the experience and we don't understand the negative feelings we're having inside about it, we make the meaning of that experience mean that we are bad, of that experience mean that we are bad. So the it is also us as the we as part of the collective, as a part of God, big right, we want to stay connected to God, to love, to the ultimate and supreme reality. We don't want any disconnections. So this is how deep this stuff is of why the anxiety is so overwhelming.
Speaker 1:The mental body mindset. Now, this is a hyphen. The mental body mindset is formed to scan for present day experiences that match three things the meaning about self-worth, the emotion being suppressed. The meaning about self-worth, the emotion being suppressed. So the mental, emotional identity of the misunderstood moment can remain and live on in the now moment.
Speaker 1:Have you heard of an ego death. The ego death is when we come face to face with the reality that we have created based on our own actions, and the actions are because we were suppressing something, we were repressing something or we were using a protective mindset or behavior to prevent the bad thing or a bad feeling from happening again. So it's not our fault, but the ego death is facing that. Now we have a responsibility that Whoa, maybe some of the perpetrators and the victimizations that I have held close to my heart, of the reasons why I have a problem, I'm not healthy, I can't stick with things, I'm oppressed in some way You're confronted with. Actually, that feeling and meaning I've made about this is part of my shadow, is part of my protection. The thing that I am holding as a perpetration and victimization actually wasn't that. That was my interpretation of it, because I was making somebody else's experience mean something about me. And I'm talking about the ego death here, when we're looking at stuff that we've done, maybe in our 20s and our 30s or in our 40s, of like, oh shit, that was on me, but I've been perceiving that and holding onto that baggage as if it was the other person's fault. That's the ego death, but guess who's dying? The mindset that happened In that moment, the mental body mindset, is formed to scan for present day experiences that match the meaning about self-worth, the emotion behind suppressed emotions.
Speaker 1:So the mental emotional identity of the misunderstood moment can remain and live on in the now moment. Nothing wants to die, everything wants to live. Grass grows through concrete. So even these mental emotional identities, identities that say I am bad because of whatever negative emotion guilt, shame, sadness, disappointment they want to live on. So they are going to keep on duplicating themselves and with whatever is in your reality at that now moment. Whatever year, that was day, that was month, it is whatever now, moment of right now, april 29th 2024, if that mental emotional identity isn't checked, it's going to take a look at this entire day and figure out where that bad emotion is to reinforce the identity that you are bad. So you'll make meanings out of every interaction with people to reinforce that identity because to your mind, body, that's who you are. This is why the ego death is so hard to get through, because you have to take responsibility if you're going to rebirth yourself. Let's talk about some of these outcomes. The outcome of the reinforcement of the negative identity is your. That's the part I messed up. At the end of your day, when you're going to bed or at least for me, that's what I would do that's the part I messed up.
Speaker 1:Thought that you have confirms that, yep, you're bad. So once now you have the confirmation, you went through your whole day or this is actually like speaking the first person. I go through my whole day. I find one or one to three moments that yep, that interaction. I should have done a better job, I did something wrong. Then now I have the physical reaction of the sinking in my chest, the throw up sensation in my throat and the adrenaline dump in my limbs. Now my physical body is in confirmation of its identity. So now the mind and the body, the mental, emotional identity that I made that I am bad is now confirmed. So now I am back in the little child body of the first time. I made that meaning around that emotion and it's funny because the interaction that you have with people or an event doesn't even have to be the same emotion. It's just that you have to find a reason for you to experience the emotion. So, however, you're going to judge yourself based on what you did that day, then you get to have that emotional secretion from the brain, the molecules of emotion that match that mind-body identity of the emotion that you first created when you were little, that says I am bad.
Speaker 1:Addiction patterns of numbing turn on making you susceptible to their negative outcomes, which are isolation, neglect and self-abandon. So this is the real fun part we're going to get into the addiction patterns because anxiety is something that we want to get rid of, right. So we're going to do things that we are addicted to shopping, working out, eating drugs, drinking sex Is that about it? Yeah, work, get addicted to work, because what happens is when we divert the focus to that other thing, it's actually giving us a false sense of connection. And I'm going to explain why it gives you a false sense of connection through the top three outcomes of isolation, neglect and self-abandon. And this is deep stuff of overarching how to deal with anxieties and addiction because of the mental, emotional identities from our inner child. But this is also why we're screwing up our dream body, like our body is already the dream we are having, the conscious dream of being human. Our soul is having the dream of being human. We are making it up as we go and our charts, with the astrology that gets to help us navigate. It's like our tool set to understand, based on my mental emotional state, what energy am I going to tap into on my chart? What's my gone right energy? What's my gone wrong energy? Like my favorite astrologer, renata, likes to say, the astrology and our charts are a template for our potentials for the dream. So when you hear this about isolation, neglect and self-abandon, you'll be able to see how some of that stuff shows up with how you ghost your habits or how you sabotage your results on your way to your dream.
Speaker 1:Body Isolation is first. The addiction provides connection because of the chemical reactions in your body that calm the alarm of the inner child. Some addictions that bring you up let you relive the fantasy of not being bad. You created in the days, months and even years after the thing that you didn't understand happened. This is important. We may not remember this disassociation, but if there was the moments in these experiences that you didn't understand that either you were really young zero to 18 months or you didn't have somebody to help you through it. Validate it, witness it so that you could have your reality confirmed. Did not be stuck with all this emotion in your body, not having any understanding of it. Firm did not be stuck with all this emotion in your body, not having any understanding of it. You may not remember this, but there's part of us that could have not everybody could have disassociated into a fantasy state of the dream of a wonderful experience that you would rather have than the one going on physiologically in your body in that moment.
Speaker 1:So if you have an addiction, that the high part of the addiction, the click of buying something, the achievement at work, the high of it, the high of your addiction, that is actually putting your body in the physiological state of the fantasy, because where your mind goes in, that height secretes molecules of emotion that are high vibration. So your physical body gets dumped with regenerative feel-good hormones Dopamine, serotonin, feel good, some addictions that bring you down. Let you experience your sadness in a quote-unquote safe space, in a safe way because you choose the medicine and dose, in a safe way, because you choose the medicine and dose, some addictions that bring you down. Let you experience your sadness in a safe way because you chose the medicine and dose. So you know there's a down, there's a come down after your high. The come down. The comedown is the part that we are knowing is going to happen, but because we also know we were the cause of the initial high, we're okay with it. So the addiction process allows us to feel those negative emotions that we're trying to avoid, the negative emotions that created the identity. That said, I am bad.
Speaker 1:All addiction isolates you from people, the thing that triggers your anxiety and starts the downward spiral. So, with addiction and isolation, you are using the addictive thing, habit or substance to create an internal connection within yourself because you can access the fantasy and you can control the low. Well, where? Why did those things even occur? Because there was an interaction, probably with a person, with a person, of an event. You watch something. You watch people interact. Something happened with your caregiver, something happened with a friend, something happened with a sibling, something happened with a person or something happened without a person and you were in need of validation. So then we end up isolating ourself because the thing that is the cause of the fantasy or the low we don't want, that's causing our anxiety. So it's much easier for us to be with ourself in a controlled way with our addictive behaviors, because we are under control, we don't have to interact with someone and like brace for like right, because inevitably we know unconsciously that we're going to go through the list to figure out what we did wrong and what we need to correct. And this is this is really from the FON response that we're people pleasing and we're making sure that we're doing everything right so that we don't feel bad, so that someone doesn't reject us or abandon us. Addiction provides a safe connection because people are not safe and that's really the bottom line of how our inner child's mind, even babies 0 to 18 months, relates to people. So it's much easier for us to use substances and things to make a false sense of connection, because if we cannot be connected with other people, this is nervous system to nervous system. This is our species connecting. This is why, like animals are so much easier to connect with, because there's zero judgment right, there's no nervous system alarm.
Speaker 1:Neglect is the next one, and then we have self-abandon. You neglect your life, the things that really quote, unquote matter. I never thought I was going to be so much of an air quote person, but matter is important because matter is the physical experience birthed from the non-physical of thoughts and feelings. So when you have this anxiety. You can't be present to family and friends, right, because you're going to be in your head thinking about what you need to do perfectly to make sure that you're not abandoned or rejected. You drop the ball with clients, customers and colleagues. Whoops, that's me. I mean, this is all me. I'm sharing with you my experience. You don't take care of yourself. Yes, oops, that's me. I mean, this is all me. I'm sharing with you my experience. You don't take care of yourself.
Speaker 1:Yes, the mental, emotional identity of the suppressed emotion and the value you gave your worth because of it block you from seeing your world, community and body. I feel like these mindsets are like colored glass or a net and remember the projectors. I don't know if you remember this, the projector that has a plastic square and then it has a see-through image of it, of a photo, and it was in a little circle and you'd hit a button and it would change the image and it would project onto the wall a projector back in the day. So I feel like these mindsets are like push the button, put another one on that Just go right into your brain energetically. They're like see-through, like Tony Stark in Iron man when he has his area in his office.
Speaker 1:The mental, emotional identity that's a mindset of the suppressed emotion and the value you gave your worth because of it block you from seeing your world, community and body. So it's like here you have an open brain, you're calm, you're listening to this, we're in deep thoughts, really getting introspective as I'm sharing this stuff with you. But then there comes in a mindset or there is there already, is it's already there at all times. This is why that's such a problem because it's always there. So it's always there and you can't see it and you can't remove it, you can't press the projector button to get it out of the way and it is literally blocking you, your vision right now, to notice your world, your community and your body. You don't notice how awesome your body is, you don't notice how attractive you are, you don't notice the people around you that do love and accept you and you don't notice the way in which the world is working out okay for you. Because we're stuck in the flip side of this, like sonar device. It's called neuroception always looking for threat. But it's not just the regular physiological neuroception that's looking for threat, for safety, for good reason. It's like it's exacerbated. It's exaggerated, it's an overdrive. Steam is coming out of its ears. If it had a head, you cannot see the value in what you already have because this mindset is so hell-bent on reminding you of how bad you are. So that causes neglect.
Speaker 1:So if you are in a state of neglect within your entire experience, you are not a state of neglect within your entire experience. You are not going to take care of your body. You could be like how I was, where I've always really 80% of my life, unless I was sick or injured was consistent with exercise. I love exercising, exercise, I love exercising. There really hasn't been a moment in time where I wasn't exercising since I first got certified when I was 19 years old. But I didn't take care of myself. I ran myself into the ground and didn't listen to my body and didn't work on imbalances that I had and I let dominant muscles take over and I let that screw up my whole skeletal system, causing nerve problems and pain and eventually a disc herniation. So you could look real good on paper, checking all the boxes, but you could still be neglecting yourself.
Speaker 1:The last one is self-abandon. You abandon yourself, your needs and desires, your habits and air quotes, doing your part in the co-creation of the universe. So I'm pretty sure you are here because you believe, or you are dipping your toes into the belief, that this is a co-creative universe where us and our three to 5 percent conscious mind are creating our reality with the ultimate and supreme reality, with our guides, guardians and angels, and with other people and animals and plants and insects. So we abandon that inner knowing and we stop doing our part and we look outside of ourselves, not just for the threat to confirm that we're bad, but for the reason why we're not in our dream body yet. The experiences and pleasures of your dreams remain in the ethers because you stop doing what's necessary to birth your creation.
Speaker 1:I don't know if anybody's told you this, but if you want to have nice sculpted shoulders and a tank top, you're going to have to birth your creation. I don't know if anybody's told you this, but if you want to have nice sculpted shoulders and a tank top, you're going to have to hit your shoulders pretty frequently during the week. If you want to have some little ab lines, I don't know if anybody's told you this, but you're going to have to do resistance training for your core. I don't know if anybody's told you this. But if you want to be more flexible and not have a headache all the time from tension, you're probably going to have to do Pilates. There's shit. You have to do so when you have abandoned yourself.
Speaker 1:Because of this anxious mindset that is trying to find reasons to confirm that you are bad. You can't show up and do what you need to do. When you drop out of the driver's seat of the conscious mind, reality has no choice but to listen to the commands of the subconscious, where the suppressed emotion inform the three to five percent of the subconscious, where the suppressed emotion inform the three to 5%. So I look at the subconscious and suppressed emotions sub and sub, because to me the suppressed emotion is the thing that we are like, consciously aware that we don't want to feel like I'm, like this, because, like we know the feeling, we don't want to have the feeling. We think we could do the inner work and the personal development work to never have the feeling. But the feeling is part of us and the feeling has relevance because this is a sensory experience. So when you drop out of the driver's seat of the conscious mind, reality has no choice but to listen to the commands of the subconscious.
Speaker 1:Metaphorically speaking, the subconscious is the feminine energetics of creation, because the subconscious area of the brain is where all the patterns and automations are held. So in the Bible from the metaphysical point of view, before it was translated to be a literal text was that we can't serve two masters. And those two masters are the conscious mind of our desires, that we are aware of, that we would like to experience, that we probably even talk about, or the unconscious, the inner child stuff. The inner child, I am identities that say I am bad. So when you are no longer in your co-creative state, I'm on my hero's journey. This is a sensory experience. I'm working on reconnecting with myself. I'm working on remembering that I am part of the ultimate and supreme reality. There is no separation between me and God. There is no separation between me and other. When you drop out of that state, the subconscious patterns go on. It's like it's just it literally autopilot. So don't abandon yourself, because that's what you're going to get. Wrapping this up, we're going to also, at the end, just do a quick review of the body energetics, breath work and nervous system regulation portion so that you know what to do after you listen to this podcast. Slash masterclass.
Speaker 1:Anxiety pushes the dream body away because, although it has become the solution to being bad, the fear of not being good enough to be it and have the fantasy the child thinks it will experience is overwhelming. The dream body becomes our caregiver. Attachment theory, module 18 of the body energetics classroom at bodygenenergeticscom. The attachment of the inner child, the clingy inner child that goes through deprivation and indulgent cycles, the anger of the inner teenager who is rebellious and says screw the system, I'm not doing. This Doesn't like the discipline. Hello, what teenager likes discipline? Those identities all have behaviors automatic behaviors with the function of your body and how it's manifesting an illness or health, and the behaviors of ghosting, following through or sabotaging. So your dream body, because we use the tools and our body, our now body, our body, our now body as a way to reenact the negative mind-body identities we created on our way to or that we created in our experiences. The dream body becomes the caregiver, just like a romantic partner becomes our parent.
Speaker 1:Anxiety pushes the dream body away because the dream body is now the fantasy. So once we have a fantasy and you might be able to relate this easier to romance, once you meet the man or the woman of your dreams, fears come up and the fears then, like the matrix, all these codes come down, of all the ways it can show up and those fears attached to the dream body and the meanings that you gave those fears. That is unconsciously happening within your physiology, within your mindset, within your emotions, within your reality. Your reality starts to reflect it and that's very overwhelming, that's anxiety. The overwhelm alarms the inner child and the mindset is created to justify its negative emotion by being bad and deserving it. The overwhelm alarms the inner child. So all of that awareness within the mind-body system alarms the inner child, this mental, emotional identity that says I'm bad. The mindset it created to justify its negative emotion by being bad and deserving it jumps off.
Speaker 1:So now we are the inner child, mindset is on, we're four years old. Then that mindset reviews the days, weeks, months and even years. For moments it can say it's just like when. So when we're going through this at night and we're like, okay, like you find all the reasons why you suck, why you were bad, what you should have done differently, in other words, what you should have done differently with your tools to get to your dream body, when now you can find a moment that says it's just like when. Now you are got the confirmation chemically within your body. Now your mind, your physical body, is in the sensation of I am bad. Now, when you can remember a moment between that first moment and the one you're having right now that matches, you say it's just like when. So now you've compounded the energy, now your mental and vibrational emotional body, because we have the emotional body, chemical, with molecules of emotion, we have the emotional body vibrationally with the measurement of energy and motion that we give names to called feelings. Now we're set, now we have completely created a reality vibrationally and chemically, non-physically and physically to match the I am bad and the shame spiral activates and addiction, isolation and self-abandoned patterns automate.
Speaker 1:Are you getting this? I hope you are getting this. This is what is happening. You might have to listen to this again. Post in the group.
Speaker 1:If you have questions about it, let's go deeper on it. That is the gist of what is happening now, how you can stop this and like. There will still be moments where you're triggered, but what will happen is the trigger. The thing will happen in your awareness but instead of dropping out of the driver's seat into your subconscious patterns based on the suppressed emotions, or even into your unconscious, where you repressed emotions, where you are completely unaware of why you're doing the things that you're doing or why your body's so unhealthy or why shit always hits the fan whenever you set a goal for yourself so that you can, you'll stay present and you'll be able to be like.
Speaker 1:This is a sensory experience. What am I feeling? What is this like? Let me reconnect with myself, and how we're able to do that is by breath work. Breath work, especially the brain and heart coherence. Breathing that I have in the body energetics community is going to help you stay connected in your mind, body, because we breathe in for five seconds and out for five seconds and we think thoughts about something that would make us feel love, joy, appreciation, kindness or care from the outside in. So check out what we're doing. We're hitting the nervous system with slowing down the breath. Now the heart knows that is completely safe. There is zero threat to be had.
Speaker 1:We are accessing imagination, the vibrational aspect of the subconscious mind, the vibrational feminine, emotional energetics that is sending out a signal into the ethers to say, hey, I really want to experience something that would make me feel love, joy, appreciation, kindness, care. And then we also have the chemical identity changing, because the thoughts of love, joy, appreciation, kindness, care have a molecule of emotion. So you are giving yourself an internal shower of regenerative molecules of emotion. You are sending out a vibrational signal and changing the vibrational capacity of your aura. With love, joy, appreciation, kindness, care, you are calming your nervous system down. You're doing it all Five seconds in, five seconds out. Think happy thoughts. Peter Pan was right. Five seconds in, five seconds out. Think happy thoughts, peter Pan was right.
Speaker 1:Another way to get into, to be connected, is with toning. So I have a very specific beautiful practice every single day that is so modern it's going to blow your mind. Sometimes I like Palo Santo, but not always, so you don't have to have incense or a bell or a yoga mat. I listen to a meditation to get into my body or connect with my inner child first thing in the morning. Sometimes I have to get up and go to the bathroom and then I come back and lay down again. I have a specific playlist that I listened to that has this beautiful Christmas song of all things, since you know how I feel about the organization of the Bible and then I listen to music that takes me up and lets me access my anger and move that energy, because anger is actually just life force, energy, it's power. And then I move into inspirational music. But what I do while that playlist is on, I take a cold shower. I take a cold shower just to get all my places wet, except for my hair, of course. It's curly hair. You don't wash it every day and I tone. I go like this, but I let the exhale play all the way out. I do that three times.
Speaker 1:Toning like that on an exhale sets your vagal nerve. The polyvagal system is your nervous system that connects you with your inner child. That's the physiological aspect of your inner child. So in polyvagal theory I go over that in the breath work section of the body energetics classroom. So toning the brain and heart, coherence, breathing. And then, last but not least, is inhale, inhale, exhale. This is also something that gets you into your body very quickly. It's very natural and what our nervous systems often do when we are done having threat. So toning, brain and heart, coherency, breathing, two inhales, one exhale.
Speaker 1:That helps you get into your body and the more you do that you may actually start to see some solution. Thoughts and some awareness start to build of what this inner child mindset of I am bad is meaning about you and how it's showing up in your life. Or it could just help you regulate so that because you're doing all the other tools of the body energetics coding system and attachment theory you're like when you have that moment when you are triggered, you'll be able to stay in your body sooner. Like you'll, you won't pop out of your body, you'll, you'll stay grounded for a longer period of time. Like it won't get the best of you, but it just takes practice. So I'd love for you to join the community bodyenergeticscom.
Speaker 1:Go to the classroom and in the classroom the very first module is welcome. Start here and then how to play the game and um, and then you can go into module number five of the nervous system regulation and you can head over to module number 18 of attachment theory to kind of see like some of the stuff of, like the energetic stuff, of what I was talking about, of why anxiety builds up. But this was so good, this was the stuff that really helped me reorganize myself, my thoughts and feelings, so that I could follow through with changing my relationship with food, so that even though all my exercise, I could actually see a physical aesthetic outcome from all of the movement that I do, because I healed that relationship with my food. So I'll see you there. Body Energetics with an X dot com.
